A place for working ideas...

If one believes that their purpose in life is to consume then die, then it can be said that the very idea of war is counter-productive. Going on to elaborate further, the Earth as we know it is a living organism with its own homeostasis (the act of sustaining life) then we as humans were evolved to further our ability to consume. Simply stated, we are the Earth's most perfect parasite, only getting better with time and evolution. The concept of war goes against the key concept of parasite populations, that is kill the host not each other. Now with that stated, I'm not saying destroy the Earth with an express intent to do so. You will find that you don't have to. As mentioned before, it is your job to consume, by nature you will have consumed enough to do your part.

Currently reading The Great Gatsby to dissect character development.  Working hard to focus on what's between the lines rather than wat is right in front of me.  Trying to feel out Fitzgerald's mechanisms and implementing them in my own work.  Some great things to come from this.  I hope.
